Terms of Service
VidMuse
Last updated: May 1, 2026
By downloading, accessing, or using the VidMuse mobile application and any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
In these Terms, “VidMuse”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of the VidMuse app and its backend services. “You” means the person using the Service.
2. The Service
VidMuse provides tools for personal, entertainment-oriented music creation, including but not limited to:
- AI-assisted song generation from text descriptions or structured inputs
- AI Lyrics Writer for generating and editing lyrics
- AI voice covers in preset celebrity voices and (where purchased) in custom voices trained from short voice phrases you record
- Remix & mashup tools for re-imagining your songs
- AI video creation for stylized music videos (offered as a separate add-on purchase)
- Playback, library, playlists, song feedback, sharing, and export features as offered in the app
Features may change over time. Some capabilities depend on third-party APIs, cloud processing, and your device capabilities.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must comply with the Apple App Store requirements and any minimum age rules that apply in your region. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your device and Apple ID used with the app.
4. Subscriptions and purchases
- Paid features or increased usage limits may be offered through in-app purchases processed by Apple. These currently include auto-renewing Premium subscriptions (Weekly / Monthly / Yearly) and one-time consumable purchases (e.g. Custom Voice training + cover credit, AI Video creation).
- Some plans may be offered with a discounted introductory price for the first billing period (for example, a reduced first-week or first-year price). After the intro period the plan renews at the standard price unless you cancel before renewal. Intro prices are not free trials and are charged immediately at purchase.
- Pricing, billing, and renewal are governed by Apple's terms and the purchase flow shown at checkout.
- Generation budgets for subscription plans reset on each renewal. Unused credits do not carry over.
- Consumable purchases (Custom Voice, AI Video, etc.) do not auto-renew and are valid for the specific feature/credit described at purchase.
- Refunds for digital goods purchased through Apple are handled according to Apple's refund policies, unless a stricter rule is required by law in your jurisdiction. To request a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com.
- We may change subscription plans, limits, or pricing; where required, we will follow applicable law and platform rules and provide notice before changes take effect for existing subscribers.
Free tiers or promotional generations (for example a 2-generation welcome bonus) may be offered with limits; we may change or discontinue them at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe copyright, trademark, publicity / personality, privacy, or other rights
- Upload or generate content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful, explicit (where prohibited), defamatory, or that violates third-party terms
- Use the custom voice features to clone or impersonate another person's voice without their explicit permission, or to mislead, defraud, or harass anyone
- Use the Service to generate deepfakes, fake endorsements, or content that falsely attributes statements or performances to real people
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or models except where applicable law forbids this restriction
- Circumvent technical limits, billing, or security measures
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service as a competing product
- Use automated means to abuse APIs, quotas, or infrastructure
You are responsible for inputs you provide (prompts, lyrics, URLs, recordings, scene choices) and for outputs you choose to publish or share. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, including misuse of voice cloning.
6. AI-generated content and third-party services
The Service uses artificial intelligence and specialized third-party providers for music generation, lyrics creation, voice processing, custom voice model training, and AI video generation. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not unique.
- AI output is not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).
- You understand that similar content may be produced for other users.
- Custom voice models are trained from short phrases you record; training is performed asynchronously by a third-party provider and may take several minutes. You agree not to use this feature with anyone's voice without their consent.
- You must comply with the terms of third-party platforms you connect or link to. Where the Service allows use of YouTube or similar sources, you agree to comply with the YouTube Terms of Service where applicable: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or specific quality of AI outputs.
7. Intellectual property
- The app, branding, UI, and our materials are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
- Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app as intended.
- You retain rights in your original inputs where you hold those rights. You grant us a license to process your inputs and operate the Service (including hosting, security, improvement, and legal compliance) as reasonably necessary.
- Do not remove or alter legal notices in the app.
8. Copyright and complaints
If you believe content in or through the Service infringes your rights, contact us with:
- Identification of the work
- Identification of the material and where it appears
- Your contact details
- A good-faith statement and, where required, statements under penalty of perjury
We may remove or disable material when appropriate.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use data. It is available in the app and at the URL we publish for VidMuse (see in-app settings or website). Using the Service means you acknowledge that policy.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors or harmful components.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD 50), EXCEPT WHERE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW SUCH A CAP.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum required by law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify VidMuse and its affiliates, officers, and agents against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app and canceling subscriptions through Apple.
Sections that by nature should survive (e.g. intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity) will survive termination.
14. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will provide notice as required by law or platform rules (for example, in-app notice). Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance.
15. Governing law
Unless mandatory consumer laws in your country say otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction we designate for VidMuse, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except where you have non-waivable rights as a consumer.
16. Miscellaneous
- If any part of these Terms is invalid, the rest remains in effect.
- Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service, aside from Apple’s applicable terms and our Privacy Policy.
- You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
