VidMuse

Last updated: May 1, 2026

VidMuse (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and disclosed when you use our mobile application and any related services we operate (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

VidMuse lets you create, play, and manage AI-assisted music and related content. Current features include:

Some features require an internet connection and send your inputs to our backend so that specialized third-party AI and audio providers can process them.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

2.2 Information collected automatically

2.3 Information processed on our servers

When you request AI generation, lyrics, covers, extensions, AI video, or similar features, relevant inputs (for example prompts, lyrics, parameters, scene choices, and when applicable audio you uploaded or recorded) are transmitted over HTTPS to our backend (API proxy). Our backend forwards requests to specialized third-party AI and audio processing providers for the following purposes:

These providers process data under contractual safeguards and in accordance with applicable law. We vet our providers for security and privacy compliance. Outputs (for example generated audio, video, or metadata) are returned to the app.

2.4 AI Data Consent

Before your data is first sent to any AI service, the app asks for your explicit consent. The consent dialog identifies what data is sent and how it is processed. You can review or revoke this consent at any time in the app's Settings under "AI Data Processing." If you revoke consent, the app will ask again before any AI features are used.

2.5 Custom voices & consent of the speaker

If you train a custom voice model, you confirm that the voice you record is your own, or that you have explicit permission from the person whose voice is being recorded. Do not record or upload another person's voice without their consent. We may suspend custom-voice features for accounts associated with abuse or misuse of voice cloning.

7. Retention

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as HTTPS for network traffic and secure storage where appropriate (for example Keychain for sensitive device state). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or to data portability. You may:
